This confirms an impression I had, but I did not take the time to
research until now. Configure says:

This package is configured for the following features:
------------------------------------------------------
...
GTK-2 support..........................   yes
Stock buttons (icons on buttons in GUI)   yes
NLS support (foreign languages)........   yes
...

But I see the buttons (1) without icons and (2) in english, whereas
the rest of the interface is translated. 

FWIW I use gtk 2.10.11 on mandriva 2007.1. Is there a package that did
not get installed and that I should add?

Any help welcome.
