    You can get a version 0.99.9.22 for Ubuntu 8.04 amd64 in [1] on my web site.
    I will provide a version for i386 next week. Or you can rebuild the 
    Debian unstable package on Ubuntu yourself.
    
    I may provide a newer version for Ubuntu when a newer version is 
    available for Debian. I maintain jpilot in Debian but not in Ubuntu.
    
    Maybe you can open a bug in the Ubuntu bug tracker and request that a 
    newer version is provided instead of 0.99.9.17.
