The list was getting private address confused with private records, which is something different. Older Palm's had an application called Address instead of Contacts. The Address database in the Palm only had 1 address possible. When Palm wrote Contacts to replace Address they wrote a compatibility layer to handle syncing of Addresses into the Contacts database. It would drop the extra addresses since there was no where to put them. You have to go into preferences in jpilot and tell it to use Contacts. I am not sure if that version of jpilot had Contacts support added yet. It depends on what Fedora decided to compile. As far as how to recover your extra fields, I am not sure that you can. Judd
