I notice that my Mepis installation had JPilot 0.99.9.18 installed, but shows version 0.99.9.2 as available in Debian Stable. Can I assume that 0.99.9.2 is a more recent version than 0.99.9.18? I seem to remember that version numbering conventions in linux might make 0.99.9.18 a higher version than 0.99.9.2 because 0.99.9.20 was considered a different (higher) version than 0.99.9.2. Not sure about this. So, in short, which is the more recent version: 0.99.9.18 0.99.9.2
