I have been having problems with Gutsy also. Perhaps it is related to recent posts about the Treo 650. I have noticed that my Palm will not always sync with jpilot 0.99.9.10, with device set to usb:. The key here is "not always" because sometimes it will sync fine. On a fresh boot, and sometimes after a suspend or hibernate, jpilot behaves as if it does not see the Centro at all. BUT, if I use pilot-xfer, that program DOES see the Centro. Furthermore, after using pilot-xfer, jpilot also sees the Centro and does its sync! In summary: 1. Hook Centro up to USB port, press sync button, wait a few seconds, press jpilot "sync with backup" button. No response. 2. Close jpilot. Press sync button, then do pilot-xfer -p usb: --list This gives a file list. 3. Start jpilot again. Press sync button, wait a few seconds, press jpilot "sync with backup" button, everything works fine. Subsequent syncs with jpilot will also work, sometimes surviving a suspend or hibernate. -------------- next part -------------- An HTML attachment was scrubbed...
