I have successfully compiled jpilot 0.99.9 on Slackware 11.0 and I have
been running it as such for some time now.

Just so that I get to the point for the impatient: Has anyone
successfully compiled jpilot on Slackware 12.0 (stock install)?

When I tried to compile jpilot on 12.0 it complained about missing
pilot-link libraries. Unfortunately, I had to fall back to Slackware
11.0 (for whatever the reasons are). Having said that, I also no longer
have the exact error message. Though, I think it complained about the
current distribution version of pilot-link - which is
    pilot-link-0.12.2-i486-4.tgz for Slackware 12 and
    pilot-link-0.11.8-i486-3.tgz for Slackware 11.0.

As a last resort, I would consider installing a pre-built jpilot
    Slackware package.

If you want/need more info, just tell me what you want.

    DPD.
