I'm definitely no expert, but from what I do know, that's a very bad sign.
Basically, your computer is just not communicating with the device at all.

This is the same situation I'm in right now. About the only thing I can think
of is that I did update my kernel a couple of months ago, which is around the
same time that I stopped seeing the connection established between my Visor and
my computer.
