[jp] newly acquired 2nd-hand clie doesn't sync

I've done exactly as you said, putting a colon after usb and pressing sync
on the pda before pressing sync on jpilot, and it still doesn't work.

Perhaps, we should go one step back. Before we try solving the PDA to Jpilot
connection, maybe we should see whether the PDA and the computer system are
in "communication" with each other. If you think this is a good idea, how do
we do this?
