    Hello,

I have a funny situation. I created a new user account just to test things
out. On that test-user account, I'm able to sync my PDA by doing the
    following:

    1) Enter "sudo modprobe visor" in terminal.
    2) Press Sync on Sony PDA.
    3) Press Sync on Jpilot.

I then hear the twaddle dee sound.
Here is what "$ tail -f /var/log/messages" gives.

    Before anything else:

When I press the sync button on Jpilot:
    Nothing happens!

How come in my main account, though PDA is connecting to my computer, Jpilot
does not seem to connect with the computer/PDA? I've tried changing
Jpilot/File/Preferences/Settings Tab/Serial Port from the default of [usb:]
to [ttyUSB1] and [ttyUSB1:] but it just makes things worse.(doesn't help).

    Please help me.

    JC
