    Thank you for your reply. Wasn't sure if anyone was going to reply, or if
    anyone has ever had the same goal (Copy from Palm to computer) as I do.
    
    
    Syncing will not write empty databases over full ones  - the process is more
    > sophisticated.
    > I can't tell you exactly, but the stuff from the Palm will be written to
    > Jpilot, then anything in jpilot will be written to the palm.
    
    
    
    I'm actually scared of just going ahead and syncing. I'm scared because the
    last time I was doing a migration, I lost data. At that time, my migration
    was the reverse. At that time, I had data on my Jpilot which I wanted to
    move to my Palm, and doing the normal syncing wiped out the data on jpilot,
    and it also kept my Palm blank.
