Trying again, I was able to use pilot-xfer to sync the PDA with jpilot. Unfortunately, it apparently used an ancient backup, not the current AddressDB.pdb, so now both the PDA and jpilot contain formerly-deleted records, and incorrect contact information on some existing records. Rats! I've removed AddressDB.pdb from ~/.jpilot and am restoring it from last Friday's backup tape; I'll restore the incremental daily backups afterward. But, does anyone know how to delete the entire address book on the PDA so I can copy the correct data to it -- once I get the link working? I don't want the sync routine to think the PDA is more current than is the desktop. Rich -- Richard B.
