Fedora 7 includes jpilot and pilot-link, but doesn't seem to build
pilot-link with libusb support. So I just built pilot-link 0.12.2 and then
jpilot 0.99.9. I'm running on a Thinkpad X60 with the x86_64 libraries and
kernel. Jpilot works and connects to my Palm TX with the "port" usb: and
I've just successfully completed a sync.

But I can't get jpilot to unlock private records. The password that
works on the TX (I've just checked that I can, for instance, hide and
then show private records) is not accepted by jpilot and I just get an
"Incorrect, Reenter PalmOS Password" dialog box no matter what I enter.
The only thing I've been able to find about password problems with jpilot
is the remark in the readme

I'd be grateful for any suggestions.

      George
