The reason a blank entry worked, is that it was defaulted to
/dev/pilot (the jpilot-sync -d output shows this.) If you look at
/dev/pilot during a sync, it's likely to be a symlink to /dev/ttyUSB1
, which is what you had to set the main account to in order for it to
work.
