[jp] Jpilot data gone when synced to new pda. help

Hello,
I had a Sony PDA which died. I had synced right before its death. I
took out my fresh Palm pda to sync the data from jpilot to my palm
pda. First thing I did was go to jPilot->File->Install USer. I hit the
sync button on my Palm PDA, then clicked the "install user" button on
jpilot. I kept the username the same (same as on my Sony PDA).


Then I did the regular sync, thinking that all the data from my jPilot
will be transferred to my fresh Palm pda, but horrors! Virtually all
my data from jPilot has disappeared.
Help. Is there a backup copy of my files somewhere on my linux computer?
