    Hello!

As I explained in an earlier mail, I am now able to sync, but have to do
so as "sudo su". Within the limits of my short experience of Linux, that
seems to indicate that there is a problem of "permissions" preventing me
from syncing as an ordinary user. Can any of you suggest where I should
be looking? I don't think it is related to the USB connection, because I
can plug and play other USB devices without any problem.

I am running the latest version of Ubuntu and J-Pilot on an Acer
Travelmate 800 and I am using a Palm Zire 71.

Thanks in advance for any suggestions!

    Best wishes,

    Eamann 0 Ruairc
