       Yes. That's why it's called synchronizing the PDA and desktop. First all
    PDA changes are copied to the desktop, then the stored desktop changes are
    copied to the PDA.

       Take a look at ~/.jpilot/*.pc3. Any file that has a size > 0 bytes has
    changed records to be copied to the PDA on the next sync event.
