    This has been seen on other distros, but I hadn't seen it reported with jpilot 
    so far. It's a pango problem. Gentoo's is solved with emerge 
    emul-linux-x86-gtklibs. Some have solved it by putting in missing symlinks.
    I can't recall what I finally put into google to find the answer - you need an 
    error message and that error message mentions pango.
