[jp] Can't sync

Out of the blue, I can't sync.


When I press "sync" on jpilot, jpilot immediately says:

   ****************************************
    Syncing on device /dev/ttyUSB1
    Press the HotSync button now
   ****************************************
   pi_bind error: /dev/ttyUSB1 No such file or directory
   Check your serial port and settings
   Exiting with status SYNC_ERROR_BIND
   Finished

However, when I first press the hotsync button on the PDA and *then* press
"sync" on jpilot, I hear the "do do doooo" as if the connection was
established, but then immediately after I hear "do do doooo" as if the
connection is immediately broken.  The palm says the connection is lost.

I'm not even entirely sure this means the connection was even started.

I'm at a loss to diagnose further.
