    Folks,
I have managed to screw up my Palm Z22 and I hope that someone on the
list can help me clear it up. I have searched the list archives, but if
this problem is mentioned I did not find it.

I am running Ubuntu Breezy with Jpilot version 0.99.8-pre9. I have been
happy with it and have been syncing and backing up my Z22 daily.
Recently, I was installing the newest Ubuntu, Edgy Eft, and decided to
    try kpilot.

    BAD IDEA.

It blanked out all my calendar and some other stuff. I used jpilot
restore (on the old Breezy ssystem) to restore the calendar, but then
wondered what else was gone, so I used jpilot to restore everything.
(The restore button came up with everything highlighted, and I left
everything highlighted.) I noticed that there were a few errors, but I
foolishly did not write them down.

When I try syncing or backing up now, I first get an install files
screen containing a long list of files. For example, ZLib.prc. The
backup does not try to install that file, though, because it is missing
from .jpilot/backup. If I look for a copy of that file, there is one
in .jpilot/backup_removed, but if I copy that file to .jpilot/backup,
it gives me a message that the install failed. No further info.

All of my calendar and all the memos I checked seem OK, but when I click
on "Addit" I get the message "No BFViewer Found Please Beam Again". And
when I click on AdditVault, I get what appears to be a setup screen:
It is titled "My Addit" and has four choices: "Set up or Edit Account",
"Buy or View Downloads" "Outbound Transactions" and "Addit Log". The
    log is blank.

Any help would be welcome. I don't NEED the files in AdditVault, but I
kind of like the calculator and the chess game, but they are gone.
