This is sooo strange:
I entered the commands when I thought were correct:
> [/etc/udev/rules.d] > grep -i pilot*
> [/etc/udev/rules.d] > grep -i visor *
> [/etc/udev/rules.d] > grep -i zire *
and it happily accepted it. Unfortunately now when I type '> grep -i palm
*' I get the error:
bash: -i: command not found
I was entering it as root but when I type it in with sudo as <user> it
responds:
1 bmike1 at 1[rules.d]$ sudo grep -i palm *
2 45-libgphoto2.rules:# Aiptek PalmCam Trio
3 60-symlinks.rules:# Create /dev/pilot symlink for Palm Pilots
4 60-symlinks.rules:#KERNEL="ttyUSB*", SYSFS{product}=="Palm Handheld*",
\
5 60-symlinks.rules:Palm Handheld*|Handspring *", SYMLINK+="/dev/pilot
6 bmike1 at 1[rules.d]$
It still won't sync. What's up with that? Could it be the '\' in line 4?
