    Dear all!

Sinc I want to get jppy again working I have done the following:

    - recompiled pilot-link to get python-pisock to work with current
      python2.4

    - created new jpilot-0.99.9 package by taking the patches from the
current Debian package, changing some dependencies so that it can only
be installed with the new pilot-link

    - build jppy packages which work with python2.4

    Changelogs:

    pilot-link:
    	* recompile to get python 2.4 support

    jpilot:
    	* force depends on experimental libpisock packages
    	* (forgotten to mention) new upstream release

    jppy:
    	* rebuild with python 2.4 and updated rest of the world
    	* add python-egenix-mxdatetime to build dependencies
    	* start jppygui with python and not with python2.3

All the packages are working nicely together, jppy as a plugin of jpilot
and as standalone on a current Debian/sid system.

What I will test next is whether libusb connection is also working (it
    was some time ago).

Ah yes, you can get all of this at
    	deb http://www.logic.at/people/preining/debian/ jp/
    	deb-src http://www.logic.at/people/preining/debian/ jp/

The .dsc, .changes and the Release file are signed with my gpg key. Get
it from a keyserver, fp in my signature.

    Please give feedback.

    Best wishes

    Norbert
