    However, This is a pure Linux system.  I also have about every bit of 
    10.1 installed off the DVD.  I did get 0.99.8 to compile correctly and 
    it seem to work OK.  I am downloading the CVS version mentioned and will 
    try it.
    
    I have a feeling it has to do with G++ or some gnome include.
    I do have KDE 3.5.4 installed.  Which works well.

    Yes about 50 % of it from sources with all deps.  I do try to stay clear 
    of some gnome related includes because of headaches.
