    I've been using the packaged that's downloaded from the Ubuntu 
    distribution and just using the GUI.  There is no jpilot-xfer binary as 
    part of this package.
    
    The Treo 600 does not reset when using Palm Desktop on Windows.
    
    I only sync when connected over the USB wire.
