I'm running Fedora Core 3 and j-pilot .99.7 with a Treo 650 via USB. My
syncing is very reliable except that "some" of my notes in my
contacts/address book don't transfer from my treo 650 into j-pilot.

My palm program that keeps my contacts adds an ascii dot (\225) at the
bottom of my notes as a journal entry. Its only these records that fail
to display any of the notes. (a small sample file is attached).

Any Hints on how I can get jpilot to accept this character?

    thanx.
